Join senior officers to hear about some of the major issues facing the University and higher education, and ask them about the issues that matter to you.

Upcoming events (please note that all events will take place on Microsoft Teams Live)

The Vice-Chancellor, Professor Louise Richardson, will discuss current challenges facing the University and answer questions on issues that matter to you. An invitation, with a link to register, will be sent to all staff three weeks before the event.

Dr Rebecca Surender, University Advocate for Equality and Diversity and Pro-Vice-Chancellor, will answer your questions on the objectives and priorities of the Race Equality Charter. Dr Surender will be joined by Professor Anne Trefethen (Pro-Vice-Chancellor for People & Gardens Libraries and Museums) and Professor Martin Williams (Pro-Vice-Chancellor for Education). An invitation, with a link to register, will be sent to all staff three weeks before the event.

The Vice-Chancellor hosted a special Open Forum event focused on the University’s preparations for the next academic year. The event included a short summary presentation by Professor Karen O’Brien, Head of Humanities Division, and Baroness Jan Royall, Principal of Somerville College, Co-Chairs of the Michaelmas Coordination Group, followed by a Q&A session, where the following colleagues were on hand to respond to questions: Gill Aitken (Registrar), Professor Chris Conlon (Head of Nuffield Department of Medicine - Experimental Medicine), Professor Patrick Grant (Pro-Vice-Chancellor for Research), Dr David Prout (Pro-Vice-Chancellor for Planning and Resources), Professor Anne Trefethen (Pro-Vice-Chancellor for People & Gardens Libraries and Museums) and Professor Martin Williams (Pro-Vice-Chancellor for Education).
