The Oxford Magazine is not an official publication of the University but an independent magazine edited by members of the University.
It is published 4 times per term (0th, 2nd, 5th and 8th week).
The Oxford Magazine is currently in a period of guest editorship. The name of the next Guest Editor will appear in the previous edition of the magazine, so please look there for the name and email address of the person to whom one should make submissions.
At the latest, submissions should be received by the Thursday of the week prior to publication.

Message from the Board of the Oxford Magazine, June 2026
Dear Readers,
The publication agreement between the Editors and Oxford University Press has come to an end.
As a result, the Board is now seeking a new publisher agreement and alternative long term financial support in order to continue to publish the Oxford Magazine and to cover costs which include the costs of typesetting, legal reading, and indemnity insurance.
We have a new edition ready to publish, for which we have grant funding, and we will seek to continue the service which has previously been provided as quickly as possible. The Board remains committed to the publication of the Oxford Magazine as an independent publication of the University that allows for the free discussion of matters of relevance to Congregation.
