Financial Wellbeing (January and March 2023)

Join one of our webinars on financial wellbeing to learn more about free external services and resources available to support you with cost of living challenges. These sessions are delivered by MoneyHelper; bringing together the support and services of three government-backed financial guidance providers: the Money Advice Service, the Pensions Advisory Service and Pension Wise.

Webinar 2: How to manage your money - Tuesday 14 March (2 - 3pm)

This session will cover practical tips for managing your finances and improving your financial wellbeing.

Wellbeing for Managers (January - May 2023)

Based on feedback from people managers across the University, this programme was launched on 25 January 2023 to provide line managers with strategies to manage their own wellbeing, as well as the wellbeing of their teams. 

The workshops will be run on the following dates:

  • Thursday 16 March 2023 (2 - 4pm) – Workplace Stress Management.

  • TBC: Tuesday 16 May 2023 (11 - 1pm) – Management Responsibilities and in person networking event.

Being for Beginners (March 2023)

The next Being for Beginners course will run in person over two full days on 1 and 8 March 2023. Take this opportunity to reflect on your own wellbeing needs and gain tools to make meaningful and positive change in your working and personal life. Spaces will be limited and course allocation will be on a first come, first serve basis. Staff must be able to attend both full days. Please note, this course is only available for University Staff.

Being for Beginners is also scheduled to run online over 23 May - 8 June 2023 and will include one hour sessions every Tuesday and Thursday within this period. Further details coming soon.
